Scope: To lead the “Technology” function for the enterprise
Job Description:
With business vision and strategy, she/he provide leadership to the “Information TECHNOLOGY” function of the enterprise “FYLS-Founding Years Learning Solutions”. The SVP-Tech sets the vision, direction, and implements the Technology plan, policies, and programs. The individual will have complete functional responsibilities, which involve effective strategizing, action planning, and implementation guidance of existing and new TECH platforms and programs in accordance with enterprise growth and business plans.
- Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of “(IT) Technology team” within the organization.
- Provides team leadership and sets “vision, direction, and operational excellence” for the IT function.
- Accountable for “quality of IT Solutions” and “easy availability of business information”.
- Develop and implement a technology roadmap that aligns with overall goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure timely delivery of solutions, new features, and enhancements
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in our technology stack, processes, and methodologies
- Receives guidance and support from the support functions and the Leadership team.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency
- Provides guidance to the enterprise leaders to achieve business information success through technology solutions
- Proactively provides insights (short-term & long-term) into the TECH-service operations of the organization. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive technology innovation and maintain a competitive edge for the enterprise.
Education / Work experience:
IT- Engineering graduation + MBA. Total experience of 20+ years in the information technology operations function. Must have worked for a minimum of 5+ years in leading the function at the enterprise level.
Preferably from the IT-Product domain with experience in building products in the service industry. Should have worked in medium to large companies and well understand the complexity of a ‘dispersed business network’. Brings with her/him “Service & Solution mindset; Self-driven personality & team player; high personal Quality, Value & Ethics”.
Critical Personal Skills:
Excellent leadership and people management skills; Strong communication skills; Ability to drive self & team in ambiguous situations; Ability to represent FYLS to external Forums, industry groups, etc.
