About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer with hands-on experience in cloud-native application development, modernizing legacy systems, and building scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both backend and frontend development, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, Spring Boot, and React.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and implement cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
· Develop frontend applications using React and integrate with backend microservices.
· Participate in AS400 modernization projects, converting legacy systems into scalable Java-based microservices with modern React front-ends.
· Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other developers to design robust and scalable solutions.
· Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following best practices and coding standards.
· Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
· Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
· Ensure applications meet security, scalability, and reliability requirements in cloud environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
· Proficient in React for frontend development.
· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, etc.).
· Experience in AS400 modernization or migrating legacy systems to cloud-native solutions.
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud deployment.
· Good understanding of RESTful APIs, security practices, and database design (SQL/NoSQL).
· Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
· Knowledge of serverless architecture and event-driven microservices.
· Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
