Description:

The key is Process and working with Sales, Customer Success and Customer Service domains, including CRM, Sales Performance Management, Sales Analytics, Omni-channel service, CPQ and Contract Lifecycle Management.

The Enterprise Business Process Architect translates business strategy and tactical business needs into business process improvements. This role is a primary contributor in the transformation of our Sales, Customer Success and Customer Service business processes to drives revenue and ensures customer satisfaction.

The BPA is responsible for creating and maintaining the roadmaps of functional capabilities across the various Sales and Customer Service organizations and their underlying Technologies. This includes the recommendation and preparation of business cases for Technology investments (projects and enhancements), business analytics enhancements, and enabling collaboration through technology. The position acts as the liaison between all stakeholders globally, and manages the decision process for all Technology changes related to Sales and Customer Service. This role will be responsible for developing business cases when necessary and the preparation of the governance structure (steering committee, business project teams, subject matter experts, etc.).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
5+ years’ experience in Business process engineering skills: Lean, Kaizen and or advanced Six Sigma
5+ year’s experience driving organizational and business process changes
5+ years preparing business cases
Understanding Project Management methodologies
Experience in Sales, Customer Success and Customer Service domains, and working with various tools, including CRM, Opportunity Management, Contact Management, Sales Performance Management, Sales Analytics, Omni-channel service, CPQ and Contract Lifecycle Management

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Master’s degree preferred
Certified in Business Process Management techniques
Working experience in our industry
Experience with Miller Heiman sales methodologies
This role will also be responsible for metrics, and monitoring business improvements throughout the project lifecycle of key deliverables. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Partners with Sales and Customer Service business managers in the development of business strategies and business process improvements (driven by business opportunities/needs or by Technology opportunities/needs)

• Understands and analyzes business problems and opportunities in the context of requirements and recommends solutions

• Assists business managers with adoption of new platforms and systems

• Translates overall business strategy to drive opportunity identification and prioritization.

• Identify dependent initiatives and co-ordinate roadmap alignment with BPAs in other domain (such as Marketing, Finance, Order-to-cash, etc)

• Manages the change enhancement process (approve/reject, prioritize based on available IT resources)

• Understand Business information and provides sound business cases with underlying data analysis and monitors success

• Takes ownership of the project preparation process, sets priorities, builds business governance, accountable for business case (development and approval), and business approval process.

• Develops, writes and communicates business requirements for use in the design and implementation of business solutions.

• Ensures Business Benefits (KPI)s are identified prior to project, and responsible for measuring and assuring measurements are attainable – including ensuring that the KPI metrics continue to add value to the business

• Responsible for ensuring the lessons learned for all Marketing accountable projects are implemented

PROCESS ENGINEERING, Information Integrity, Business Analytics and Collaboration

• Works as a liaison among stakeholders in order to analyze, document, communicate, and validate business needs and requirements for changes to business processes and technology platforms;

• Analyzes, models, optimizes, documents and facilitates implementation of business processes, information flows and business rules;

• Proactively designs overall collaboration solutions

IT LIAISON

• Works closely with the Enterprise Architects (EA) and Business Analysts (BA) and will act as the one-stop-shop for IT.

• Provides recommendations to the BA regarding requirements and changes to existing and new systems to ensure that they meet business needs. Does not make the hands-on configuration changes.

• Provides governance & track performance of IT supply deliverables.

USER EXPERIENCE & INNOVATION

• Translates user experience requirements and business requirements into defined specifications (e.g., Roles and Persona) and inspires the Engineering team to develop high performing user friendly applications. Provides the BA with information for them to document the full requirements of the business; in a format for the user community to collaborate.

• Defines innovative user interfaces and interaction styles which result in improved user productivity;

• Work with Technology teams to make sure that the workflow reflects the customer’s needs and ensure consistency among features.

• Applies New Technologies – Overall, helps drive change and Innovation throughout the business, drives business acceptance of new technologies, and drives identification of where new technologies will help the business obtain their overall goals. (i.e., Mobile, Collaboration, etc.)

• Evangelize Technology that is currently available
